BCN: from Daisy Bank (DB), WS5 3AR to Wednesbury (W), DY4 0AF

This is the route that I took on Sunday April 21st 2019 when walking the BCN from Daisy Bank (DB), WS5 3AR to Wednesbury (W), DY4 0AF. It is 10.6K long.

KML for the above route as a line
KML for the above route as a series of points

Here are some photos I took. If you want to see a photo in hi-res, click on it.

As the above map shows, the route for today is almost due South to Rushall Junction, then WSW to Tame Valley Junction and then back North to Wednesbury. It's going to be tedious in places as it's so straight.
I'm starting at Sutton Road Bridge in Daisy Bank

It's straight. The Pearson's guide says the TVC "is equipped with towpaths on both of its banks. Generally speaking, west of Rushall Junction this is better on the north side". As you can see it's hard packed stone. There's no way I want to walk this for miles.

Left goes South to Ryders Green Junction. I'm hoping to do that bit on Wednesday. Whereas right goes North to Walsall and to Birchills Junction where the Walsall Canal meets the Wyrley & Essington.

The second of the two bridges is the tram line between Wolverhampton and Wednesbury Parkway.
This is the end of today's walking.
I'm off to Wednesbury Parkway to catch the tram back to Birmingham. Although local Seniors can get free tram travel, that's not true for "foreigners" - it'll cost me £4. Boo!
