Calder and Hebble: from Cooper Bridge to Dewsbury

This is the route that I took on Saturday September 28th 2019 when walking the Calder and Hebble from Cooper Bridge to Dewsbury. It is 11.9K long. The route needs to be chopped at its end because I forgot to save the route before getting on the bus/train.

Here are some photos I took. If you want to see a photo in hi-res, click on it.

The walk along this bit of the Calder and Hebble Canal starts at Cooper Bridge Junction. The Canal comes from behind me along the River Calder and then goes left whereas the river continues straight on. You can go further along the river if you wish to go along the Huddersfield Broad Canal as the junction for that canal is not far away. This is all explained on the signboard that's at the junction.
