Chesterfield Canal: from Staveley to Killamarsh

This is the route that I took on Monday March 11th 2019 when walking the Chesterfield Canal from Staveley to Killamarsh. It is 8.5K long.

	The Canal has to cross the River Doe Lea but currently there's no aqueduct and so the "towpath" temporarily goes away from the Canal using a path that bears left at the wooden fence shown on the left. 	The answer is that the T-junction is actually a staggered crossroads - so right and then left - to go along this footpath which is not so defined as the other two! 	There's not much room for a canal between the path and the field to the right - maybe the farmer has grabbed some of landpreviously used by the Canal ...
