During this holiday I walked the Kirklees Way (KW). This is a "challenging" 74M/120K route that adopts paths close to the boundary of the metropolitan borough of Kirklees. The largest town of Kirklees is Huddersfield, and that was where I stayed overnight (in a hotel). Each day I took buses/trains to where I had finished walking the day before.
To help me walk along the KW, I obtained some mapping for the route from the
LDWA website.
And, on my mobile phone,
I used that data in my own mapping app (derived from BingMapsAndroidSDK) and in the OsmAnd app.
Both apps showed my current location against a detailed OS/OSM map.

I was in Huddersfield for 13 days. However, I didn't walk the KW on Christmas Day and Boxing Day because there were no/few buses. On New Year's Day I used trains as there were no buses. So I took 11 days to walk the KW. Although the KW is about 74M/120K, during this holiday I walked about 96M/155K.

indicates how far I walked that day whereas
the first indicates roughly how much of that was spent walking along the KW.
The second is bigger than the first because I need to walk between a bus/train stop and the KW.
