Leeds and Liverpool: from Higher Wheelton to Mill Hill

This is the route that I took on Thursday August 8th 2019 when walking the Leeds and Liverpool from Higher Wheelton to Mill Hill. It is 10.6K long.

	The public right of way from the bus stop to the Canal takes me through this person's property. 	On the way down to the Canal I hear a boat. This photo (taken from bridge 86) has the boat going through bridge 87. Will this be the only moving boat I see today? 	The Pearson's Guide points out that bridge 87 gives access to a part of the Thirlmere Aqueduct which is about 1K from the Canal. I take a wander (along a public right of way) and find it - it's the grassed area between this gate and another gate in the distance. 	I then find another public right of way that goes under the Aqueduct. The Pearson's Guide explains: "The Thirlmere water supply aqueduct opened in 1894 brings water a hundred miles from the Lake District to Manchester. for the most part its course is subterranean."
