Leeds and Liverpool: from Rishton to Huncoat

	The view to the left. There's an embankment in the centre of the photo. That's where I'm headed after I've done a few turns around the village of Church. The Canal is well and truely following the contours. Have a look at this map. 	Swing bridge No. 3. It's not far from the end of today's walk. The plan is to use the next swing bridge to cross the Canal and take some footpaths across fields to a footbridge over the M65 and then more footpaths to Huncoat Railway Station. 	I think this monstrosity carries a sewerage pipe across the Canal. 	And this is the swing bridge I'm planning to use. There's a big problem. It's open to boats and there's no way I can move it from this side of the Canal. So I revert to my plan B which is to use the road bridge further on but that means I won't get to the railway station in time for the next train and the one after that is in another hour. Bummer!
