Leeds and Liverpool: from Burnley to Colne

This is the route that I took on Monday August 12th 2019 when walking the Leeds and Liverpool from Burnley to Colne. It is 14.1K long.

	It's easy to get to the shops from the Canal. I did this when I was on boat back in Summer 1968. It's a pity they don't provide moorings. 	There are 7 locks. Together they lift the canal by just over 69 feet. This is the Bottom Lock (lock 51). 	I'm catching the train back to Blackburn from Colne Railway Station. The train goes via Burnley using a line that opened in 1849.
