"This 30 lock flight is the longest in the UK" - what about Caen Hill Locks? That has 29 locks but I think it's in a shorter distance. And how close do two locks have to be to become a flight - I think the distance between Tardebigge Top Lock and the next lock down is longer than the distance between Tardebigge Bottom Lock and Stoke Top Lock and so why aren't the Stoke Locks and the Tardebigge Locks in the same flight?
